He was born on July 3rd, 1959, and throughout his life, he touched the hearts of many with his kindness, passion, and strength. Ruben was a proud and loving father to his three children, Christian, Sebastian, and Sophia, as well as a cherished grandfather to Stella whom he adored beyond measure. His love for them was evident in every aspect of his life, and his guidance and support will forever be cherished. Additionally, he was a beloved brother to his three sisters, Ruth, Jeanette, and Janice.

On August 13, 1996, Ruben began his journey at Crowne Plaza, where he dedicated himself wholeheartedly to the hotel industry. His commitment and exemplary service set him apart, earning him the respect and admiration of colleagues and guests alike. With a strong and serious personality, he took his role seriously, leaving a lasting mark on those he worked with. Beyond his professional life, Ruben was a passionate sports enthusiast, finding joy and camaraderie in basketball and baseball tournaments in Puerto Rico. His competitive spirit and love for the game brought him immense happiness and lasting friendships. Even as he pursued his career simultaneously at the Pennsylvania hotel, his dedication stood firm, earning him numerous awards, including the prestigious Big Apple award, reflecting his outstanding contributions to the industry.

In 2003, Ruben made the significant decision to purchase his home in Pennsylvania, demonstrating his commitment to providing a stable and loving environment for his family. Despite the long travels to the city, his dedication to excellence never wavered, as he continued to be an exemplary employee in both hotels, showcasing his steadfast ethic and professional integrity. His ability to balance his personal and professional life with grace and determination was a testament to his strength of character and devotion to his loved ones.

Ruben's love for music was infectious, and he had a talent for always being well-dressed, exuding class and sophistication. His passion for travel was evident as he delighted in taking his beloved family on unforgettable cruises, creating cherished memories that will endure for a lifetime. Above all, Ruben's compassion, love, and selflessness defined him. He lived each day for others, always going the extra mile to help and support those around him.
