Biography

Jerry Jolene Parton was born on January 12, 1954 in Flat River, MO, to Roy and Jeanna Parton. She had 2 brothers, Roy Jr., Charles Dennis and 1 sister, Cheryl. Jolene, as she preferred to be called, married Dale Fortner in May, 1972 and they lived in Irondale, MO . They had 3 children together, Chandra, Dale Jr. and Misty. Around 1985 they divorced and she moved to DeSoto MO. Jolene met Ron Armbruster in 1991 and they married in June, 1992, she remained with him until her death in 2021. They ran a Construction Company together and then a restaurant together. They built a home in French Village, MO that she remained in until her death. She loved her dogs, Sassy and Bella, and her bird Buddy. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially around the holidays, Christmas was her favorite.
